I enjoy losing myself in the work. I find design and brainstorming my comfort space and I’m never happier than with a big piece of paper and a pen.

Emma is the owner of Little Hotdog Watson, a brand making kids hats. Her aim is to make getting outside more stylish and less stressful so all the hats are packed full of innovation to make that easier. Emma is a mum of two young kids living in Norwich.

The ‘One Thing’ I want to be known for

Making a change in how fashion businesses can be run. Being thoughtful and considered about how I work and who I work with. There are a lot of problems with the industry and a slow, steady approach to constant improvement and developing new talent is key.

The ‘One Thing’ I care about deeply

Families and especially kids getting outside into the fresh air. There are so many benefits not just for physical and mental health but also with regard to learning about our environment and the other people we share the world with. I want to find ways to make it easier and encourage that where possible without people feeling guilty.

The ‘One Thing’ I want to inspire in others

To just go for it. I'm a big believer in just having a go, believing in yourself whether that's a creative idea or going on an adventurer somewhere. Sometimes it won't be a success but you never regret trying.

The ‘One Thing’ I enjoy most about the creative process

I enjoy losing myself in the work. I find design and brainstorming my comfort space and I'm never happier than with a big piece of paper and a pen.

The ‘One Thing’ I want others to feel when they engage with my work

Accepted. My brand is designed and made with children in mind so they can really feel and truly be themselves.
